Since 1955 the Palace of Culture and Science, gift from soviets, located in the city centre, in the largest square in Europe, has been the focal point of the city.
It is still the highest building in Poland (234.5 m.), and it dominates the capital, serving as the best landmark for tourist not knowing the town.
The view terrace with a wonderful panoramic view of Warsaw is worth visiting.
