Royal Lazienki

This place is regarded as one of the most beautiful garden complexes in Europe. It was created on the base of 18th century park that was transformed by the last Polish king Stanisław August Poniatowski. He rebuilt the old classicistic baths from which the park took its name. Łazienki boasts the Palace on Water, the Amphitheatre and a number of other interesting buildings.

In the Rose Garden there is one of the most famous monuments in Poland presenting Frederic Chopin. During the summer, open- air Chopin concerts are held here every Sunday at noon. Admission is free, however you must respect the silent atmosphere of the concert.

After a stroll through Lazienki Park you could grab an ice- cream take a short gondola trip on the lake by the Palace on the Water. It's a very serene way to spend some time.
