Glove shop

Pracownia Rekawiczek literally means 'glove workshop' and as the name suggests, you can buy gloves here (or else have a perfectly fitting pair of gloves made to measure).

The family- owned business was established in 1900 and is one of the longest- running family operations in Warsaw, if not Poland. This shop gives one a feel for the old- style boutiques which lined Ulica Chmielna under the old regime. For this reason, it is probably better to visit sooner rather than later, since it may not survive in the new market for long.

Lovely leather women's gloves cost from 30 to 220 zł.
