Tequila! Salsa! Mariachi! Fiesta! A real Mexican adventure you'll never forget. In El Popo the atmosphere is the most important. In the evenings it is particularly hot here: amused guests order another round of tequila rapido and margarita, waitresses carry sizzling dishes of fajita and garlic prawns. And hot Latin music played by swarthy Mexican Mariachis gives rhythm to the hustle and bustle ambience.
El Popo was Warsaw's first Mexican restaurant. It caused quite a stir upon arrival, bringing Mexican food lovers in by the droves. These days it's still popular, attracting a mixed crowd of Poles and ex- pats. Its location makes it a downtown favorite.

Posted by Moni, 18 February, 2008I was excited when I saw the list of food Mexican deli at El popo. I suddenly felt so hungry. From their Fajitas to the salsas and other best sellers, I cannot decide really what to have. I took home some of their burritos and I know my husband would absolutely love it.
