Warsaw Summer Jazz Days is another important East- European jazz forum. It's run by Poland's leading jazz event producer Mariusz Adamiak, who also takes care of the JVC Jazz Jamboree. Thanks to him, the Warsaw Summer Jazz Days always welcomes a strong representation of world jazz avant- garde.

Every year during the month of June, Warsaw hosts some of the biggest names on the jazz scene: John Zorn, Bill Laswell, Vernon Reid, James Carter, Marcus Miller, Pharoah Sanders, Vernon Reid, John McLaughlin, Chick Corea, Steve Coleman, Al Jarreau, Al Di Meola, Herbie Hancock, Dave Holland, Gil Evans Orchestra, Joshua Redman, Bobby McFerrin, James Blood Ulmer, Ronald Shannon Jackson, Branford Marsalis,Wayne Shorter, Chuck Mangione i Pat Metheny included..

Local bands also perform making this a great place to get acquainted with the substantial Polish jazz scene. Some concerts are open air with no admission fee; the rest take place in the Sala Kongresowa where booking in advance is highly advisable. Held annually in June.
