Warsaw International Book Fair

The Warsaw International Book Fair is a traditional great event for book- lovers held in may every year in the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw. Being the second largest book fair in Europe, it's a prime event for the presentation of the newest in literary and publishing achievements, and important meeting point for Western and Eastern Europe publishers.

Authors, readers, booksellers, agents and editors flock to the show, along with a flurry of media people, politicians and, less glamorous but equally important, librarians and teachers.

Held annually in May.
