The Garden Theatres Competition

The The Garden Theatres Competition continues the tradition of summer theatres, which appeared in Warsaw's Dolina Szwajcarska (Swiss Valley) in the late 19th and early 20th century.

The idea behind the competition is to entertain the Warsaw public as well as visitors, and bring life to the sleepy summer season. Performances presented at the competition offer lighter repertoire, with the ambition of reaching every member of the public, including accidental viewers with little or no experience of theatre.

The Competition lasts from the middle of June until the middle of September.
