JVC Jazz Jamboree

Warsaw has a long jazz tradition and over 44 years the annual Jazz Jamboree has become one of Europe's leading jazz festivals, featuring three nights of performances in the Sala Kongresowa (Palace of Culture & Science).

It is impossible to list all the stars who have performed at the Jazz Jamboree over the past four decades. It is enough to mention: Stan Getz, Dizzy Gillespie, Jan Garbarek, Duke Ellington, Art Blakey, Thelonious Monk, Charles Mingus, Gil Evans, Wynton Marsalis, Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman, Ray Charles, Keith Jarrett, Count Basie Orchestra, John Scofield, B.B. King and the list goes on...

This is a must for all jazz fans! Held annually in october.
