The Capital City of Warsaw in Poland

Being capital of Poland, the city of Warsaw has many government buildings based here – such as the Supreme Court, the Presidential Office, and the Polish Parliament.

Warsaw residents love sports like football, handball, volleyball, and basketball. Boxing and chess are also popular though to a lesser degree. Since 1979, the Warsaw Marathon has been conducted in Warsaw. Warsaw is also home to The Grand Theatre, and the National Theatre, as well as musical venues like the National Philharmonic Hall, the Chamber Opera, and the Polish National Opera. The Warsaw National Museum is the biggest among the museums in the city.
