The variety of events are the ones to look out for in Warsaw. Feasting and eating is the main activity during Tlusty Czwartek or Fat Thursday that happens on the last Thursday of Lent. On Easter Monday, instead of the usual religious rituals, people on the streets begin a massive water fight where they throw buckets of water to unwary people passing by. When November comes, a most popular name in Poland is celebrated: Andrzej Day. It includes festivities and parties and people during this day are allowed to party even at work.
