This is the most prestigious theatre in the country, has a wide range of plays and performances. There are several stages, and they each have different styles and content. The theatre is by no means conservative (although they also present classics).
They publish their schedule of performances well in advance, so it's easy to plan what you want to see. One of Poland's most famous stage actors, Jan Englert, appears here both on stage, and as a director.
