This theatre has one of the most wide ranging repertoires in the city. They sometimes have international guest appearances that are not theatre, but usually they focus on plays.
A typical month might see a play by Shakespeare (in Polish), Arthur Miller, Havel or one of their newer plays Becketts "Waiting for Godot" (all in Polish). The theatre holds annually in September a very interesting "Meetings" Festival of Theatre Festivals.
The theatre is inside the Palace of Culture, along with the many other cultural venues there.
Open Hours (tickets): 10am- 1pm Mon- Sun and from 3pm before shows.
